Bluewhite has been named among the first robotics companies to join the NVIDIA Halos Inspection Lab, a newly launched initiative designed to standardize and accelerate safety in AI-powered robotic systems.
Announced during NVIDIA GTC Paris at VivaTech, the NVIDIA Halos Inspection Lab brings together leading robotics and autonomous vehicle companies to establish integrated safety and cybersecurity protocols across hardware, software, and AI models. For Bluewhite, this marks the beginning of a strategic collaboration focused on off-road functional safety, supporting the company’s work with global OEMs and public sector partners that require high levels of compliance and reliability.
The collaboration will focus on validating autonomous safety frameworks through simulation, system-level architecture, and AI model testing. Bluewhite will contribute input and insights drawn from real-world deployments, contributing to the development of tools that support safety-by-design in challenging, GPS-limited conditions.
“Joining the Halos Inspection Lab gives us a chance to help define what functional safety really means for off-road autonomy,” said Tomer Agam, VP of R&D at Bluewhite. “We’ll work with NVIDIA to ensure the safety stack—from AI models to mechanical systems—meets the complexity and variability of the environments we operate in.”
“Bluewhite’s mission has always centered around delivering intelligent autonomy that empowers people and protects the land,” added Ben Alfi, CEO of Bluewhite. “To scale that mission, safety must be engineered into every layer of the system. Working alongside NVIDIA is a natural extension of that vision.”
This effort will leverage NVIDIA technologies such as NVIDIA Isaac Sim and NVIDIA Omniverse to support system simulation and safety validation. Bluewhite will collaborate closely with NVIDIA’s teams on shaping tools, standards, and benchmarks for safety and cybersecurity in real-world operations.
The company’s involvement reflects its broader commitment to building autonomy through collaboration and fellowship, a core value guiding Bluewhite’s work across agriculture and other off-road sectors.
This collaboration is expected to accelerate the development of scalable, safety-compliant solutions that meet the needs of growers, industrial operators, and public sector stakeholders alike.
